dont have much to say but traction map on this one. ummm.... its pretty easy except for whoops and dragon back. i tested on 250 cc so biggere bike will be easier.
but would like thank danny (d-dub) for textures, alex (skymx) for touching up displacement map, eldiablo for objects, 51 for objects

Well i really like the track, was lucky enough to test it and it is a blast on the lower cc bikes, texs look great also.
Sry to add this comment to your on ur track section thing but two-four "nnnnnnnnnnnnn no good" not a good comment at all how does this help the creator at all? I understand adding constructive critisism but thats just kids talk man. If you aint got nothing nice to say dont say it at all

| I really like this track... textures, objects, and the dispmap was great. I only think there should be a little more traction near the start. After you get up to speed the ride is excellent. Great track!

I really enjoyed this track, the jumps are perfect for the smaller bike, yet not too difficult so giving a nice fun ride for people of all skill levels..
If there is one thing I would say, is that if its possible, only have the traction slippery in some areas of the map, maybe not corners or something like that. Because when you lose speed(especially before the whoops) you get a real tough time getting speed back up..
Anyway, awesome track.

lol, exactly what burn said...losing spped before the whoops....no go till a straight
somehow kills the fun

| thought thats the point of a traction map? to make the track more challenging and makes the track more realistic so u actually need some control

This track is very FUN.
It has a nice layout, a great environment, wonderful textures, a good creator..... but is entirely TOO easy.
You can absolutely blister this course once you get off the start line. However, I think the starting area on a "dry" track is the WRONG place for the heavy application of the traction map. It is just not realistic by any stretch of the imagination.
Once up to speed, the traction map is a non-issue, but the course is very fast and too easy........unless you make a mistake.
The penalty for a mistake should be a resonable amount of time lost to get going again. Unfortunately, the traction map will probably prevent you from getting back in the race again if you are against a talented field. The track is just too fast to lose 2 straightaways getting up to speed again.
Aside from these issues......which will not be issues for others......this is a FINE job. For me, just give me a dry track with TOUGHER obstacles.
Thanks for the release.

| Hey man dont this in the wronge im just tryn to help you, there is way to much traction map in this place, mybe alittle in the courners but i dont think its needed everywhere, this track is really easy, way to easy even on a 250 it felt like every thing was woops. I think if you would make everything a little bit steeper it would help a ton and sace all the rythem sections out alot more. Once again dont take this the wronge way im just tryn to help.

| too wide open....awesome triples, some parts of the rhytm sections are good, as in entering them, but TOO WIDE OPEN!!!!!!

This track was very frusturating at first and the traction map was pissing me off becasue i couldnt get going...But after a few laps i finally got my speed up and was absolutely flying and it was fun...once u finally get ur speed going this track is pretty fun but is way too easy...i think u relied too much on the traction map to make this a difficult track..
my best lap time outa 7 laps was a 48.50 on a 600
overall i would give this about a 7.5 outa 10

| People are getting out of hand with the traction control. Alittle goes along ways.

I'd have to agree with Bill (Bultaco)...the look of the track is great but there is too much traction mapping and the track is just too easy when you get up to speed.
I would say this would have been better on a bigger grid size with some variations on the traction map.
Blacklodge, add me to MSN and I'll show you some stuff with the traction map that I've learned over the years. You can actually use it to slow people down without making the track slippery by adding drag and friction...a few other nice uses that don't kill a guy's race if he gets off his lines.
Anyway my msn is musicad01@hotmail.com
Talk to ya soon,

I think the use of a traction map on any track is pointless. Except in MJS's rainy tracks, lol. Traction map sucks if you crash, but you can't tell its there and has no effect if you don't. So really it seems like its there to punish us more. No thanks, I get frustrated enough without having to go sideways for a whole straightaway after getting back up. As for the track, I would slow riders down with your obstacles. Make them work to reach some of them. Everything does seem real small. Its all trial and error man. No one got it perfect their first few tries, just keep at it.

I think the whole traction map thing is starting to go overboard and everyone is getting way to carried away with it. But then again no one asked me anyway.

I think a traction map will work if applied correctly, if you paint the map with small dots instead of a solid color will actually make the bike slide a little with slower corners, it will not work correctly when the bike is above 30 mph. But I give Blacke a "ata boy" for effort.
Keep at it man, it takes time :}
